When joining Seven Lakes Dance, it was something to do for fun - something to fill the afternoon and give our daughter an outlet for all the dancing she does at home. But the studio has become so much more! Our daughter has grown incredibly over the past few years, not only as a dancer but as a human being. She has learned the value of hard work, teamwork and dedication. Her confidence and individuality continues to blossom every day! As a parent, it’s beautiful to watch! We have so many Seven Lakes Dance role models to thank for that – not only the instructors but also fellow dancers and support of the entire SLD dance family.

To sum up why I love Seven Lakes Dance I will share a story. My daughter was 8 years old and had just finished a jazz routine in front of a packed auditorium. When I met her in the dressing room her smile was from ear to ear and she said to me “When I’m on that stage I feel like I can do anything!” Seven Lakes Dance gave her the confidence to go for it and made that feeling happen for my daughter! This is the kind of confidence we all want for our children. Seven Lakes Dance holds our dancers to a high standard, motivates and encourages, and supports and loves. “It’s more than just dance!”- Laura S.
Seven Lakes Dance is more than a dance studio it is a family! Madison has been dancing here since she was 4 and she lights up every class. The confidence and self esteem she gains from dance is amazing. The instructors care about growing the students not only as dancers but as individuals. We love the instructors and staff!! --Kristin B.
Seven Lakes dance is our home away from home! The owners are amazingly attentive and the staff is beyond nurturing and giving of their time. My daughter has grown in her abilities year after year due to this amazing support system. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! --Angela S.
Both of my girls dance at Seven Lakes Dance and I can’t say enough about how much we LOVE it. It truly is like a family between the dancers, parents and staff. The staff are not only amazing dancers but also amazing teachers who love each and every kiddo. My girls LOVE going to dance and are upset on nights that they don’t go. There is NO other dance studio for us. --Christy D.
SLD has been a part of our family for the past 16 years. Not only have they become family, but they have become a second home for my daughter--which means more to me than you will ever know. When I say family, I mean family that also extends outside of the dance studio. If you don’t know Lynn Cullifer and Bill Cullifer-- don’t worry you will soon. Their support for my daughter and SLD is beyond anything that can be measured! My daughter and I have developed some of the best friendships that we will forever cherish and will always be grateful for the memories that we shared. If you want to feel like you are part of a family then SLD is the place for you!--Deanna V.
SLD has the best culture for a dance studio. They are supportive, caring, and thoughtful in everything they do. Over the years, I’ve watched my daughters (and others at the studio) grow into such skilled, talented dancers—some of the best dancers I’ve ever seen.
Not only does SLD produce incredibly talented dancers, they produce girls who are kind.
As a mom, this is worth it’s weight in gold. I know my girls are growing as dancers and as human beings.
That’s why I choose SLD. --Katie B.

My daughter is 10 years old and has been with Seven Lakes Dance since she was 3. She has continued positive experiences that have fueled her love of dance. She has learned skills far beyond what is demonstrated on the dance floor like positivity, respect, kindness and dedication. She has flourished as she has discovered her strengths and developed a greater self confidence that spills out into all that she does. I will forever be grateful for the positive, passionate, dedicated staff at SLD that have helped to shape and encourage my little dancer.

My daughter has grown so much dancing with Seven Lakes Dance. Being with the studio for eight years now I have been able to see the love, time , and commitment each teacher at the studio invests in my daughter, along with each child that enters the doors. I have watched my daughter transition from being shy and restrained to one who is confident and full of vitality that is so exquisitely her own. We love Seven Lakes Dance. --Sarah M.
Seven Lakes Dance and their instructors have given my child so much joy over the past 7 years. She has grown from being a shy little girl that was scared to go on stage to a confident pre-teen that thrives off being on stage. She has gained so much more from her teachers than a love of dance. She has learned that it is most important to be a good person and represent yourself well. She has learned life long lessons such as pushing through hard times and the value of being a team player. I appreciate that SLD focuses not just on the children as dancers but as becoming good people. We love Seven Lakes Dance and look forward to many more years on the stage!

It is difficult to express what dance, in particular Seven Lakes Dance has done for my daughter and out entire family. First, her confidence....watching her shine on stage is amazing and breathtaking at the same time. Next, family....dance is where we come together. Also, my daughter has a second family at Seven Lakes Dance. The instructors are not just the most talented teachers but life long mentors! We are so proud to be part of the SLD family! --Tricia L.
Every year at some point I share how the instructors at SLD have helped and are “my village” - small ways, big ways, different ways no one would even think of. My girls are/where good dancers - never going to be professional but that was okay....They were taught the practice pays off, that you work for what you want, that awards and trophies are nice but what you have learned and what growth you have achieved as a person is the ultimate goal. To smile when you want to scream - to accept your performance - good or bad - because its yours, and to embrace who you are inside. These ladies have literally taken care of Brittany on summer trips, Lexie when she was a baby and when this mom needed to be in 14 places at once - they stepped in. So are they family.....? Without a doubt. Are they good at what they do? They are fantastic--and we are blessed!!--Alisa K.
